1. Information stored on your device
Code cards, notes, breakpoints, watch expressions, execution results, app language, appearance, and haptic-feedback settings are stored in the app's private on-device container to provide its features. The app does not provide cloud sync. Depending on your device backup settings, Apple-provided backups may include app data.
2. Collection and tracking
The app includes no developer backend, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking SDK, or crash-reporting SDK. It does not create an identifier to recognize you and does not track activity across other companies' apps or websites.
3. Running Python code
Python source entered by you runs in the app container on your device. The app does not automatically retrieve or install code or third-party packages, and it does not automatically send your source or results to the developer.
If you intentionally write and run Python that uses networking features in the bundled standard library, that code may communicate with a destination you specify. Review the destination and content in your source before running it.
4. Contacting support
If you email support, the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send are used to reply and investigate the issue. They are not sent automatically by the app. Remove passwords, secret keys, tokens, and other confidential data from any source you share.
5. Children's privacy
The app does not collect age information. A parent or educator should provide appropriate guidance before a child stores or shares code containing personal information.
6. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when features or applicable requirements change. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date on this page.
